Ensign Crossbill
The minesweepers Crossbill and Condor were on patrol some 1.75 miles south of the Pearl Harbor entrance buoys early on the morning of 7 December. At 0357 Condor signalled the destroyer Ward to report the sighting of a submarine periscope.
