Hawaiian Army Command
The US Army in Hawaii was under the command of Lieutenant-General Walter C. Short (Short, Walter C.). His Chief of Staff was Colonel W. C. Phillips. G-2 Intelligence was commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel K. J. Fielder and G-3 Operations and Training by Lieutenant-Colonel W. E. Donegan. Troops included 24th and 25th Infantry Divisions, Coast Artillery under Major-General H. T. Burgen and Signal Corps under Lieutenant-Colonel C. A. Powell.
