Patterson
The Gridley class destroyer Patterson was laid down at Puget Sound Navy Yard on 22 July 1935 and completed on 11 October 1938. She was a sister ship to Bagley and had the same specification. On 7 December she was moored in East Loch north east of Ford Island. She claimed, with other ships, to have shot down the Val dive-bomber that crashed on Curtiss.
